Matt graduated first in his class from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2010. Following law school, he worked for the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia in the Antitrust & Consumer Protection and Environmental Sections. While working in the latter section, he served as agency counsel to the Virginia Marine Resources Commission and the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. In that role, he provided advice to the agencies on day-to-day matters and defended the agencies in state and federal courts. He also defended agency law enforcement officers against civil rights litigation brought against them. After leaving the Office of the Attorney General, Matt worked as a legislative liaison and policy manager for the Virginia Marine Resources Commission.
Mr. Hull joined the firm as an associate in June of 2018. He focuses his practice on general civil litigation and defending employers in workers’ compensation cases.
