From 1962-1964, Mr. Mason clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Walter Hoffman. In 1964, he entered private practice and has specialized in the defense of personal injury actions. Mr. Mason has tried many civil jury trials in his 40+ years of private practice and is an AV*-rated attorney.
From 1972-1986, he served as a substitute judge in the General District Court of Newport News, Virginia. He is a past president of the Newport News Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board.
Mr. Mason belongs to the Newport News, Virginia, American, and Federal Bar Associations, and the Virginia State Bar.
